Since I'm your roommate,Jess, I wasn't suprised to see your small amount of belongings. I personaly don't buy the idea that more belongings will create more social capitalism cause a lot of times rich people satisfy their self fullfilment than distributing it poor.
I was amazed at the small amount of stuff! But i think that this is probably a happier and healthier way to live than my method of cramming as much stuff as possible into my dorm...
